Happy New Year! Hope you had a wonderful break, and we're back to bringing you the best life coaching techniques. Kicking off 2015 we're looking at how values underpin our actions, especially those that arise in difficult situations.

Happy New Year from Kev and I! We are back after a brief break for the holidays, well, mainly for Andrew to go home to the US. It is shaping up to be a quiet week as people are slowly trickling back into the country, but do not worry, there are still cool events to check-out! Today we talk holidays, resolutions for 2015, and lectures on the dugong population in Qatar.

2014 - what a year it has been for us! In our final episode of the year, we take some time to look back on our personal journeys, as well as what is coming up in 2015. Nicole also shares techniques that we can use in constructing a vision board to set right intentions and manifest our goals.

We take the chance to bring you a year in review - a look back on what happened in 2014 and what's coming up. Needless to say, it's been a wonderful journey to this point and hopefully is enriching listeners' lives. A big thank you to you all and Happy New Year!

Right in time for the holidays and new year, Nicole and I sat down with Tina Ringer Mogensen, who is a psychologist specializing in the Imago therapy techniques. We get into how we can all be more mindful and compassionate as we visit loved ones or have them come to us. The intention behind doing so is the cultivation of more engaged, loving relationships.

Excuses, excuses, excuses - the things we make when we wish to avoid situations or those conversations that might be uncomfortable. Going into the holiday season it's a great opportunity to reflect on our actions and how we respond to events that pop up throughout our lives. We explore methods of overcoming our desire to push blame on others and how to find the courage to address things head-on.

Hope everyone had a lovely National Day last week! Andrew is back in the US for a holiday to see family and shop for wedding venues so Kev is riding solo today. If you are hanging around Doha during the holidays make sure to check this episode out.

Bucking the usual approach to a year in review, The Edge Magazine takes a look at some of their biggest stories from 2014 and how they might affect Qatar and the world next year. We delve into the Ukranian crisis, Hamad International Airport's development, reforms coming to the kafala system, and Qatar's population boom.

*Please note we will be off-air for a 2-week holiday break with this series.

Met today's guest initially via Twitter, and after hearing about her experiences in Qatar, I knew I had to have in Maha Al-Sulaiti. We talk about growing up Qatari, balancing personal development with appreciation of one's familial backstory, and navigating the traditionally male-dominated field of engineering.
